OUR MISSION

At Earthwind Botanicals, we believe natural is better and feel that quality products can be produced without the use of harsh synthetic ingredients and fragrances. The ingredients we use include high quality oils, butters, herbs and essential oils. Click here to get descriptions of ingredients we use. If a product is colored, it is done so with herbs or plant materials. We do not use mineral oil or petroleum in our products. We believe that making and using natural ingredients is not only good for us, but for the environment. We focus on using sustainable ingredients that are harvested in eco friendly ways and when possible, we used recycled packaging and recyclable containers.

OUR STORY

Kristy May, a Tennessee native, began making her own aromatherapy massage oils for her massage practice in 1998. She found her handmade creations to be superior to similar store bought versions. She then began to implement natural ingredients and products into her own skin care regimen and noticed positive results.  This new found passion combined with a strong chemistry background and continuing education, soon led to the birth of Earthwind Botanicals, a soap and toiletry business that caters to people locally via farmers markets, small boutiques, and shops, as well as people from all over the United States via the internet. Even though, she is busier than ever, Kristy still manages to spend time in the tub, aka "her office', relaxing and testing new products. She feels that everyone should take time out of their busy schedules to relax and unwind.
