Q: Do you offer free samples?
A: We currently offer free sample packets of our Bath & Body Oils and our Shea & Jojoba Dead Sea Salt Scrub, and samples of most of our bar soaps.
Q: Why should I use natural products as opposed to store bought products made with synthetic ingredients?
A: Often, store bought products contain alcohol and petroleum products as well as other synthetics that may cause allergic reactions or dry out skin. At Earthwind Botanicals, we use high quality ingredients that soothe and pamper the skin. Please see our ingredients page for more information. Not only can you feel good about the high quality ingredients in our products, you can feel assured that you are supporting farmers and manufacturers of natural ingredients when purchasing Earthwind Botanicals products.
Q: I have sensitive skin. Can I use your products?
A: Most of our products are suitable for sensitive skin. The fact that there is no synthetic ingredients in our products will help with reactions to harsh ingredients. However, some people are sensitive to certain essential oils and plant products. We advise, before you order, that you go to our ingredients page and check out the contents of the product you are interested in for any ingredients that you have allergies to.. Hint: Lavender is great for sensitive skin. Some people with sensitive skin have reactions to products that contain salt, cinnamon, clove, and citrus oils. Just as with any product that you would purchase in a store, it is wise to test a patch area for allergies if you are unsure.
Q: What is the shelf lives of your products or how long do they last?
A: At Earthwind Botanicals, we don't like the idea of using synthetic preservatives in our products. Therefore, our products will not last as long as most products that contain synthetic preservatives. However, we do use natural preserving substances to prolong the life of our products as long as we possibly can. We also make products that have shorter shelf lives when you order them to guarantee their freshness when they arrive. Products that have a shelf life that affects its quality will have an "use by" date on the back of the product. None of our products have a shelf life of less than 9 months.
Q: Do you offer a print catalog?
A: Currently, we do not offer a print catalog. If you do not feel comfortable shopping online, please email us or call us at 1-888-760-3973 and we can discuss other ordering options.
Q:What is your policy on returns?
A: Due to the "personal" nature of our products, all sales are final. We do want our customers to be happy with their products. If you are unsatisfied, please contact us so that we may work with you. If your goods arrived damaged, please let us know.
Q: Is ordering on your website secure?
A: Credit card orders are processed through Paypal. Please refer to their site for their security policies.
Q: How soon will my order be shipped?
A: Orders are generally processed on the next business day after you make your purchase. Most orders are shipped within 3-5 business days after they are processed. Orders placed over the weekend will be processed on the following Monday. We work towards the quickest turnaround time possible after we have received your payment, however, during very busy times, processing may take longer. If you need items sooner, we can offer expedited processing and shipping for an extra charge. Please choose the rush delivery option during checkout.
